La gente está muy loca!

Have you ever thought about how much time you spend planning a trip? Well, we did. One day at school we started to talk about how annoying it is to scroll through thousands of different travelling sites when planning a trip. Wouldn’t it be easier to just use one site? We started to brainstorm around and basically that’s where it all started. After 4 months of intensive working we are at the point now where we have the business plan ready. We’re full of new ideas and very passionate about the upcoming website.

GlobeOut is going to be the global travel portal of the future. It will connect all the travellers around the world in a way that’s never been seen before. It’ll be an easy way to get connected, plan your trips, get information and most importantly to have fun! In the future we hope we can be able to help our users to book for example flights and accommodations.

We are 5 Finnish girls who had a brilliant idea and that is how GTP Group was founded. GTP stands for global travel portal. We decided to create a blog to help us to keep up with the documentation. This is also an easy way for our future users to get to know us and our company.

The world of traveling inspires me every day. There's no place on earth I'm not keen to travel to. Meeting funny new people is one of the best things in life. When traveling where ever I always want to know a little of the culture and meet some locals. Seeing and going to places where tourists don't usually go to is what I aim for in life in general. For example I'd rather eat and drink some local stuff in a restaurant on a side road than go to a museum.

Talking with people is awesome and I really love speaking English. I enjoy getting people to laugh and have fun. Smiling is what I do best and I really appreciate happiness and people with a positive attitude. This is one of the reasons I'm interested in working among the marketing of our future company. Although, I'm also interested in how money talks so the financial part could be my thing too. I'm very excited of our future website as it's our own thing and we're building it together. Enjoy life guys as you only live once.

Happy. Believer. Loud. Emotional. Goofy. Spontaneous. Those would be the words to describe me the best. I enjoy life and I live it fully every day. I try to challenge myself for new things and I'm always up for almost anything. The few years that I spent in the USA made me grow as a person and I'm sure the experience I gained there will be helpful for the whole GTP Group. Because I have decent English skills, I love people and I'm an approachable person I would love to be working in the marketing side of the company. That would be something I could see myself doing.

I've always loved cultures and traveling, meeting new people and learning about them so studying tourism felt like a good choice for me. When this project started I had no idea where I was getting myself into (this I mean in a good way). I'm more than excited to see what we are going to come up with. Nea

I guess that I'm the nerdy one of the group. I'm the one who mixes up the wedding march with the Imperial march from Star Wars.

I like working with all sorts of technical stuff, especially if it's artsy. One of my favorite hobbies is photographing and photo editing and I like to think that I'm pretty good at it. I have a degree in audio-visual communications and I love working with projects where I can use my knowledge of that area.

Traveling is a way of life for me. I live for travel and I hope that one day I can travel for living. One of the best things about it is meeting new awesome people and getting to know different cultures. And it's a brilliant way of networking as well.

GlobeOut is very close to my heart as it will enable me to meet new people who are just like me. Then I'll be able to share my experiences with them. Personally I'm one of those people who can spend hours and hours on planning a trip and visiting all those billions of websites where you can get info from. However, I hate shuffling between the tabs.
